Memory is a vital part of our everyday lives, but sometimes it fails us. We've all been there -- we can't remember a person's name, we forget where we put our keys, or we walk into a room and don't remember why we're there. These memory failures can be frustrating and embarrassing. Neuroscientist Lisa Genova has written about the two types of memory failures that we experience regularly.
